Our students who will do internships can benefit from the National Internship Program from the link above.

Students who apply through the National Internship program must follow the steps below.



Necessary Information Regarding Internship Process

Our students who want to do an internship in the 2023-2024 Spring semester;

v Internship Application Form’ must be signed by the workplace after being submitted for approval by the advisor professors. (You can get approval from your advisor professors face-to-face or via email.) By the end of working hours on Friday, February 09, 2023 (17:30), it must be delivered to our school's Department Secretariat (Writing Affairs Unit) to Gülsen YILDIRIM (Room No. 315).

v Our students who cannot apply in person; must send the workplace stamp-signed application form, advisor faculty member approval (approval letter received via email) in a sealed envelope to Gölhisar MYO Department Secretariat (Room No. 315) at least 7 working days before the start of the internship (by February 09, 2024) by cargo.

v Delays in cargo are the responsibility of the student. Late documents will not be accepted. Internships cannot be conducted outside the dates deemed appropriate by the School Administration.

Our students who will do internships can apply to their advisors and Department Secretary Gülsen YILDIRIM (Extension no:7413) for detailed information on internship topics.

Internship Application Conditions:

ACCORDING TO BURDUR MEHMET AKİF ERSOY UNIVERSITY VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS INTERNSHIP DIRECTIVE;

· Students who will do internships at the end of the 2nd year must have taken all four semesters of courses at least once and fulfilled the attendance requirement (not having failed the course with a DZ grade).

· You may have failed courses from previous semesters, but students who have failed a course with a DZ grade cannot apply.

  • 1st Year Students (Students who have been successful in all courses they have taken from the lower and upper semesters up to the semester they are enrolled in and have a GPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00 up to that semester, and who have chosen the Internship course during the Spring course registration period from the upper semester for 1st Year students)

ABOUT THE SUBMISSION OF THE INTERNSHIP BOOK AFTER THE END OF THE INTERNSHIP

ü The internship file has been uploaded to the system as a pdf in the attachment. The internship file should be prepared in A4 size color/black and white printout in a cover/spiral notebook format (1st page front cover, 37th page back cover), filled with a blue ballpoint pen, and sent to our School's Student Affairs Unit by cargo/in person according to the dates specified above at the end of the internship period. You can track your cargo with the cargo tracking number and call our School for information after seeing the "delivered" statement.

ü Our students who will do internships can apply to their advisors for detailed information on internship topics.

ü Internship file submission date is Monday, April 01, 2024 – Friday, April 05, 2024

ü Internship files must be delivered to the Department Secretariat in person or by mail by the end of working hours on Friday, April 05, 2024 at the latest. The student is responsible for undelivered mail. Delays due to cargo are the responsibility of the student. Students who do not submit the internship file on time will be considered unsuccessful in the internship.
